Communication is the process in which a person transmits their information to another person through many ways.

Such as: By talking, by writing, by post, fax, etc.

Political or Politics study of state and government and it is also related to political system and political culture. i.e. Political Communication is the process by which people transmit their political culture, Political System, and political problems to another person by different- different ways.

Types of Political Communication

From past to present. There are major three types of Political communication methods by which a person transfers their problem, happiness, beliefs, attitudes sentiments, etc to another person.

These methods or types of political communication are:

(i) Traditional Political Communication

Traditional Political Communication is the process by which information is transferred by traditional methods like people to people by letter etc.

In the traditional method, clear information is not reached. A small part of the information is known by people and they predict the rest information. In Traditional communication methods, There is not enough amount of information for people.

So, every time people don’t solve the problem accurately.

In traditional Political Communication, the speech of politicians doesn’t reach many people for the majority of people are not aware of the problem of Society.

In traditional Political Communication, The information didn’t reach people and leaders instantly. So, it was very difficult to take action on this issue and try to solve that problem instantly.

(example:

A Crime happened in an area due to lake of information. Police didn’t take action on it, so, the action taken on this incident automatically late there those people who are involved in this incident do another crime.

(ii) Modern Political Communication

Modern Political communication systems are totally different from Traditional political Communication Systems. In Modern Communication people use modern techniques to transfer information to other people.

(iii) Transitional Political Communication

Transitional Political Communication System is a mix of Traditional and Modern Communication systems. in the transitional System, People use both the method traditional and Modern according to convenience.

In the Traditional System, the Urban area uses traditional methods to transmit information to other areas but the rural area uses modern methods to transmit information to other parts. We can see the major difference in transmitting information methods.

Nature of Political Communication

Political Communication is dynamic and its medium is changing time to time. In ancient times, People communicated with other people with the help of signs, symbols, and attitudes.

Some time later People communicated with other people with the help of letters, post, telegraph and In the modern period, people communicate with other people with the help of the telephone and mobile phones.

In today’s time, People communicate with other people by the help of social media. Like: WhatsApp, Facebook telegram, etc.

So, we can say that the medium of political communication is changing from time to time and Its nature is almost article nature but it has also some scientific nature like all the world adopted the same medium to communicate with other people in the same period.

So we can that it has some articles and science nature also.

Political Communication is the process by which people Transfer their political thought by a particular medium. like press, radio, social media by campaigning, by door-to-door visits, and many more mediums.

There are three types of mediums by which people communicate their political thought that is traditional, modern, and transitional from time to time. It changes their medium.
